Heyy, I'm April. I'm a self-taught embroidery artist from Wollongong, Australia. I started my in business in 2019 when I retired from professional ballet and had scoliosis surgery. I'm currently a full time pilates instructor and freelance dancer. My aesthetic is constantly evolving, but always grounded in colour, texture and vintage charm. My favourite pieces to create are maps and landscapes, and right now I'm loving naughties nostalgia pieces. Outside of my artistic careers I'm a political junkie, I love learning about history and georgraphy, travelling the worls and taking photos.
